BIO
I got a bachelor's in chemical engineering at the university of Pisa and later on joined Politecnico di Torino for a MSc in materials science and engineering. After my thesis I joined a research project between Politecnico di Torino and OLCI Enginering on resistance spot welding of aluminium alloy before being awarded a Marie Curie fellowship to join Queen Mary University of London for a PhD in Material Science. After my PhD I joined Cranfield University as a Research Fellow in Precision Device Manufacturing and then became Research Fellow in Advanced Automotive Lightweighting Structures.
