Lt Col (Retd) Liz Nelson is a Lecturer in Explosives Technology and Safety at Cranfield Defence and Security, Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. She has 30+ years’ of experience related to ordnance, munitions and explosives safety and technology from her time as an Ammunition Technical Officer in the British Army. She has an MSc from Lincoln University and joined Cranfield University in September 2022.
